Marketplace download issues

Hi, I have had my x10 now for a few months. Had no issues with it up untill a few days ago. For some reason I can download apps via the marketplace when connected via wifi at home or work but when I switch to 3g I am unable to download any apps. Via 3g I am able to browse both websites and the marketplace. Im also able to email so there are no issues with the connection. The only issue is with downloading via the marketplace. Anyone have any suggestions to fix this issue. Thanks...

Most assuredly, speaking from the African side of things and for anybody that has a telco with data rates just switch off your data transfer and work off wireless only. i have wireless at home, office and gym, of course if they are secured you need the keys, but a winning smile and a free smoothee can do wonders... lol.

...but more importantly it rocks as everything now is really free, and i bet for alot of 1st worlders it will loads easier with wifi avaibility much higher than ours....

A new development. I have regained access to download via market place. I dont know why as nothing has changed. I have also since been advised that the 3g download problems are telco related. Now its just a matter of waiting for my telco to get off their a$$es adn fixing the issue. Fingers are crossed they will be working on the 2.1 update and that a fix will come with that. Thanks for the suggestions and help though peoples. Much appreciated.

It seems your telco has finally fixed their issues, or at least beginning to fix.

Thanks for the heads up darkmax. I must admit I haven't tested it in a few days. You are right though. Its now working for me via 3g again. Yay. Now all I need is my 2.1 update.
