Hi

Can someone please tell me how I can get my Qwerty Key Pad back.

I have had the Xperia x10 for only a few days and was just getting used to using it when the Qwerty Key Pad disappeared to be replaced by a conventional phone pad "abc" "def" etc and whats more it started using predictive text which I hate!!!

Found out how to stop predictive text but can someone tell me how to get my Qwerty Key Pad back? I have found the User Guide to be useless in this respect !!

when on keypad hold your finger on blank to get keyboards options...

When in your texting application, long press on the text input box and select Input Method.  This will give you a choice of the keyboards available, default or android are the standard ones. Sounds like you may have got the Chinese one up as this offers a T9 keypad type format.  You can turn predictive text off from with in the Keyboard settings which can either be accessed on the keyboard, there is often a key with a little settings cog on it, just long press or Menu>Settings>Language & Keyboard and select the settings option for whichever keyboard you are using.
