Is anyone knows abt update release date?

hey friends..

                    This is my 1st post here. Please let me know if anyone know abt android 2.2 update date? and Is SE going to release this update world-wide?

I live in Australia, so wondring if anyone can tell me abt AUS release..

Firstly, if you look around this forum you'll noticed that a few people are waiting for the next upgrade, slated to be released on Week 38. In my and your case, that is from today onwards till Friday , I believe.

Secondly, it is not 2.2, but 2.1. No official statement has been given from SE in regards to the X10 having an 2.2 update. So please don't hold your breath.

week 38 starts on Monday 20/09/2010 afaik.

However, sony have since backtracked a bit on that and have announced that it will be by the end of September so it couild also be week 39

oh and week 38 is 20th - 26th of September so hopefully they will be rolling out the update this week and next

LOL. I post about 10 messages a day so may not always remember what I have answered to.

Anyway, this is the 2nd to the last week of September. It would not take too long for it to appear. Let's hope they bite the bullet and give it to us as promised. This week, that is.
