I am unable to get sms receiving sound

Hi all,

I bought Sony Xperia P last month.. From starting itself, I was unable to get sms receving sound. Once I switched off and switched on my mobile, then I am able to hear sms receivng sound for some mins (max 10 mins). After 10 mins I am unable to get the sms receiving sound.

Do I need to set anything?

As a first step can you try selecting a different notification tone?

hi eswaran .. its a bug ..:smileydevil:

if u set default notification to silent and then set a tone to messages then you ll able to hear msg tone ringing.. once u set a tone for default notification then both your msg tone and the default tone wont ring . some has this bug including me and some doesnt have this ..
