How to stop whatsapp images from automatically storing in Album app in sony xperia z5.

Hi guys

Ive looked everywhere but to no avail. how can i stop images from whatsapp being automatically stored in albums app in my sony xperia z5. is there a workaround this? It seems there doesnt seem to be any user control in this.

If you are running Android 6.0.1 marshmallow you could change the permission and stop WhatsApp from reading and writing to the internal storage

Settings/apps/WhatsApp/permissions/storage. Turn off the storage permission.

The problem with this is that it then wont allow you to see if someone send an image in whatsapp. all i want to is view the pic and not save. once i dlete the image from whatsapp then that image should delete from my phone automatically instead of saving...a bit like snapchat if you will.

That won't work, that won't allow the picture/media to be downloaded and you won't be able to see it

That's how Whatsapp works, you could contact the app developers regarding this request, either you hide the pictures on the album app or you could create a nonemedia file in the whatsapp folder
