How can I install Google Search by Voice on my Xperia X10?

I tried searching the Android Market for this, but no luck. I've also tried sending a text from the Google site, but clicking on the link, after I received the text, just gave an error message.

Any ideas?

I dont know whether you are kidding me or not:smileysilly:  I have got Astro and Linda, both are file managers. Yes you have to register on Gimpsta's site to start building your phone.

Actually if you just want to try the plain one the link to Jonasl's original is here....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416 you need the high res version given first.

Actually, I wasn't kidding you!  I have AndExplorer, which I now understand to be a file manager.   I suppose I must have downloaded it for some reason when I got the phone, probably for no other reason than it was free and I was feeling app happy.  It's a bit late in the day (and my life?) for me to start doing clever things, but I'll give this a try in the next day or two.  Thanks again.

Hello to the both of you.

I managed to install HTC-IME keyboard, and it's good... but, I can't get the voice recognition to work!

Have I missed something?

Thanks for your help.

I'm replying to the original post to get the big box back.

Where are you location wise? I wonder if it is location sensitive.  It clearly was already on my phone then, not something that came with the HTC keyboard. That was a bit of a long shot that Sushi was going to try. Sorry if we took over your thread.

If I find any other info I will come back to you.
