You could try a website like www.getjar.com to download android applications.
The answer to your other query is possibly into a file called Bluetooth but without a file manager on the phone the only way I think you will find them is to hook up to a PC and use PC Companion and the File Manager within that to explore your sd card to find them. I'm not sure how just bluetoothing across a game will work because you will need to run the install of them and again without having a file manager on the phone you can't do that. So the first thing I would try and get from getjar.com is either Astro or Linda file managers.

Just to add to download apps from the market, you need to have a gmail address. You can apply once and never use this email and you only have to login once at the beginning and you are free to download from the market.

This might have been overtaken by your later messages, but Suze was referring to the Astro File manager, not the media player. There is a free version on the Android Market, but I know you can't get that, so you will have to try to find a file manager from elsewhere. I'll let you know if I can find one...
