can any1 please tel me how to add b'day/s to my contacts or in calender.??????? please help!!!!!

I use Google calendar to sync with my phone.  If you have birthdays on your contacts on there you can set up a birthday and special events sub calendar with them on.  I can't remember the exact process but Google help provided a great step by step which I used when I initially set it up.

I know have a nice little app called Ebo Birthday which syncs with Google and you have an onscreen widget to remind you of forthcoming birthdays.

thanks o lot.. can u even tel me if i can create a group of contacts.. cause its damn bugging to send a fwd one by one to all contacts.. some thing like type a msg and select the contacts to be sent to and send it in one shot.... .

I use Handcent SMS for texting which gives you a tick box next to contacts for sending multiples.  I have also used an app called MeContacts in the past for group messaging.  You can create groups in Googlemail contacts which you can then sync to your phone but I don't use this function so not entirely sure how to do it.

hey am using handcent sms ... but still i have to tick the contacts one by one everytime i have to send as foward to many friends.. there is a tab called group .. but how to create groups????? please help.....

The only thing you can do on the stock contact app is 'star' them but that only creates one group.  I have just had a look on the market and searched 'contact group manager' and there are quite a few apps there.  It might be worth having a look at some of the freebies to see if they do what you want.

You can also use Gmail contacts online to create your groups and then sync those groups to your phone, but I am not totally sure how that works.  Gmail has a good help and how to section so it might be worth a look too.
