Hello Guys i just wanted to ask thi question let's say i'm locked to vodafone and i haven't received an update 2.1 and let's say i unlocked my phone and i inserted a network that has released their update , would i be able to receive the update and use it normally or would it not let me?

I just wanted to jump in and say that no, this will not work. The update is based on the software INSIDE the phone, changing the SIM will not effect the update process.
