Could anybody tell me what are the hacking privileges, that is, which are the extra things we would be able to do with hacked phones besides IPv6 support? Appcs can be installed via signing
If we will be able to flashhack our phones in the future, it's still will not get IPv6 support.
Sony Ericsson must fix that.
But yes, we can install more apps and without signing or using any certs and such.
We will be able to install our own custom roms aka CFW's (Custom Firmwares) to install for ex : Kinetic scrolling, new homescreen(s), optimization of the memory (RAM) of ex page files, caches, processes, bootloaded applications will make the device have more RAM for usage and will feel more snappy in general.
We will be able to edit for ex video recording settings so we might adjust the 23 fps to 30 fps instead so we get a more laggfree experience on our device.
We will be able to access private/sys files so we easier can 'crack' applications, install patches and updates (Nowadays we only get a Update error or this component is built-in).
We might edit the cameras image size so instead of ex 1mb we could change it to save it in 11 mb which would result in MUCH greater photo quality.
We would generally be able to add much more features and updates ourself to the devices (or hackers) than SE ever could.
We would be able to fix bugs/glitches/freezes etc and edit ALOT of thingd ex screen rotation ttime, bootscreen image/file, if certain apps should be run in a special orientation, install new Flash Player updates, Google Maps versions etc etc
And this mate, this is only a SMALL fraction of what we would be able to do.
Great Thanks
