I got my acro s few days ago. It starts to blink the wallpaper an pictures.

for example, when i slide the screen to any side, the wallpaper became blinked/teared/cropped. i am not sure how to explain in english.

or for example when i am in an application and when i press to home, suddenly wallpaper is expanded and the reloaded and fixed after 1 second.

i close the sony bravia engine option improving the picture quality but still it is the same.

i didnt observe this event in applications or games yet.

this disturbs me a lot. please help.

Have you tried running a repair/update?

1. Before you start you have to download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

and install it on your PC.

2. Once installed on your PC, double-click the PC Companion icon on your desktop to start the update.

Note! For some models you will be prompted to do a backup prior to the update and then restore.

3. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.

4. Phone Software Update.

5. Start.

6. Repair Phone

7. Continue

8. Accept data removal

9. Next

10. Wait for prepare

11. Select Phone

12. Follow the connection steps

dear sam,

i did as you have suggested.

still i have problems..

pictures in gallery are blinking 2-3 times when i surf in the gallerry, after 2-3 times of blinking they settle..

when i power on the phone the wallpeper expands for a few seconds, and the widgets could not be installes for a good 3-4 seconds..

and again when i pres home from an aplication, the wallpaper expandes for a few seconds..

please, why this is happening?
