IM A DIE HARD FAN OF SONY PRODUCTS & USING SONY MOBILES FOR PAST 6 YEARS. My 1st mobile was 610T then 910i then 990i & then X1. Nw i got new X10 on 26th april2010 bt nw facing problems with it since 30/06/10. Its not starting up. It turns off & restarts by itself,had given it to the sonyericsson service centre on 30th June'10 at Jaipur (Raj). But till nw they hv not been able to resolve the issue. SO IM BACK TO MY X1 NW. Lets see what they can do with it?? REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE OR REPAIR IT???? ITS NW UPTO SONYERICSSON'S REPUTATION.

Update the phone using Sony Ericsson Update Service or do a phone repair in Sony Ericsson PC suite.

I have the similar problem. The phone restarts most often when I use internet. I have tried update the software but no luck with that. I returned to the store which send it away for service. The only thing the they did at the service was upgrading the software. By the way this took three weeks. I got the phone back yesterday. The phone was behaving even worse than before. It restarts and a window comes up and asks for the pin code for the sim network. What is that? Finally when the phone has restarted twenty times or so a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark appears. The phone is now completely dead and I have to return it back for another service. If it takes three weeks for a simple software upgrade, what is the service time for some real work, 6 month? I have read in some other forums that we are not alone with this problem. However no one seems to know what the problem is except that the software upgrade doesn't seem to solve this problem.
Ask them to stop wasting your precious time and replace the motherboard all together.
