Emailing Text Messages from the phone

Is there anyway to either email a string of text messages or even download them to your computer.  I've tried everything aside from getting a holder for the mini SD card.

I am also wondering how I can transfer a thread. I had a threatening string of texts that I want to transfer to email or something.

Still curious how this can be done? Anyone? I really don't want to have to individually send 40 texts to another mobile....

For me, I have a text message from a sender, actually about 40 texts in a string, and i want to send these texts to another mobile number OR a computer together, not as individual texts. So I was wanting to know if you could transfer the texts to email, forward as a set or whatever. I just don't want to have to send each one individually.

Take your message and click on the menu button. In the pop up you can see forward message. Click on it. Now the message will be avaialble for editting. Long press on the edit field and you will be presented with a menu, from there press copy. Now take the mail application, click compose, again long press and click paste. Thats it.

Long press and menu button can do much more in Xperia.

Try Handcent Application from the market. It has good features to manage SMS.
