My phone used to tell me how much mobile data I had used on current cycle. Now it just shows a graph and gives me no number. What gives? Did I change a setting by accident?
Yes I know that. But it used to tell me how much I had used since my cycle started and now it does not.
Hey @mnztr1,
I had a look in an M4 Aqua here running Android 6 (Marshmallow) and while viewing Mobile data usage it only shows a graph, but while checking Wi-Fi you get an estimate of the data used in the top right - do you see the same? As for mobile data, it presents how much mobile data each app has used by scrolling down beneath the graph, but there's no collected estimate in the current version from what I can see.
I have forwarded this internally as feedback, but at this time I recommend you to try use a data counter from third party from the Play Store if you want a collected mobile data usage estimation. However, please note that it is best to check with your operator to get the exact amount of mobile data used.
OK it is basically poor interface design. When you choose large text, and the cycle spans 2 calender years, there is no pace in the field for the data usage. If you switch to smaller text, then you can see it. I also realize the number of choices with text size are reduced with Marshmellow. I guess they ran out of time and did not want to invest with in a dead platform. Sony needs to hugely reorg its SW development.
@mnztr1 I forgot to mention that I got it to look the same way as your screenshot by increasing the text size, it is just as you say regarding the text size revealing the option. I have forwarded this internally, thank you for your feedback regarding this!
