Hi,

Since JB, when I share my internet connexion via wifi, my tablet connect on my connexion, get an adresse ip, but i can't access the internet.

any way to fix that ? It's my last bug with this JB update. It worked fine in ics by the way.

What happens if you change the security settings, any difference?

Have you tried to connect using a computer or another phone? Is it working then?

I've tryed with or without security, and I've just try with anoter phone (which was working also before) : same result...

Ok, then I recommend you to repair the phone software to see if that makes any difference:

Click on this link to get Sony PC companion: http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Note that this repair will delete everything on phone memory so get a backup before starting the repair.

I hoped to find an other solution that this one, but I think I'll indeed do a full wipe of the phone to see if it change anything. I'll do that in the week end, and report back here

before I wipe all datas, anyone can confirm that sharing internet via wifi hotspot is still working in JB ?

I didn't wipe anything.

I'm not the only one with this bug apparently. It looks like the xperia T bug, wich has been fixed with an update.

Is anything like this planned for xperia P ?

Any news on this ? Wiping all doesn't seems to help...
