HELLO MY NAME IS ASHISH A.CHILBULE and I had purchased the Sony xperia p mobile on 7/7/2012 and after 23 days my mobile was dead it means not working and it was fully dead, so i had submitted that mobile on 31/07/2012 at Sony care center which is situated at shivajinagar pune and its named as accel care solution. so at that time my phone was in good condition but in dead condition so my phone was accepted by the care center and after two days my phone was submitted by care to higher authority which are situated at Chennai and they told me u will get a new phone after 10 to 15 days but after 15 when i was called to Sony Care Center they told me that u got replaced new mother board of that phone but yesterday they told me ur phone had a liquid damage was occur in ur phone and ur warranty is not claimed. These details they told me after 25 days on 25 aug 2012.and the service center's head Mr.Anand Shete was told me that the phone was in good condition so he submitted that phone to higher authority. so i called to head of Sony of Maharashtra region Mr.Ahish Parekh (9930036565) they told me give me one day then i will tell u but nw they also not entertain to me.the service of Sony phone is very very very poor and many people’s are frusted from the service which has given by sony.and one thing is that they had not check my phone also,they saw the red indication on the backside and told me that it is ELS problem and not cured by Sony and warranty was barred but when service center sent my mobile that time the indication was white and no liquid damage problem was there boz my phone was handled by the head of that service center Mr.Anand Shete so they told me yesterday. and now i am very much upset from Sony’s service. so please help me to solve this problem as early as possible.From last one month I didn’t contact to anyone and due to this I am going in loss in various manner boz I didn’t hve any kind of data with me..
Software of the phone holds 18 months support from SONY from release date.
ICS integration with FB is more than that in GB . They have not update their Timescape software but FB has, so problems. JB will be different than ICS, so it is HOPEFUL that problem will be fixed. ( supposedly by march end ).
Rooting the phone is your only option as of now.
Visitng to service centre and Consumer forums will not give you any result. Since its not hardware fault and software is beyond their scope of repair.
You can atmost ask them to reinstall the firmware.
make sure after firmware reinstalling clear data and wipe again from backup & restore menu in settings.
Also uninstall Viber ( any voice chatting apps, they create such problems ) etc.
The problem you are facing is not new, but present for some users from june-july 2012 when phone was officially launched in India.
Either WAIT or ROOT the device.
Do as ammdispose said.... Downgrade to gingerbread

I calld thm many tyms... bt thr were no Positive response frm them. So, I paid the chargers for tht strip (Flex cable) and got it repaired. Afterall It was more thn 3 mnths, I was not using my cell

my complaint is application not working properly, phone is work swoly,hang and auto on-off auto restart.
18/june/13 i call customer care center he told me give your cell sony service center , i rich 107,1st Floor,Shri Platinum Commercial premises co-op socity ltd,jawahar road-Ghatkopar east maharashatra-mumbai 400077. MOBILE TECHNOLOGY But most off customer complaint`s SONY EXPERIA J is not working proper,
i call sony call center 1800 3000 2800 and i spike your customer care,i tell her my cell problem he said only you complaint that sony experia j sir, i transfer another customer and he spike her, he tell her same problem..more than 12 to 15 customer complaint SONY EXPERIA J that time.
that not good for SONY image.
SONY EXPERIA J model is fail.
PLZ GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK OR GIVE ME ANOTHER SERIES HANDSET ....

First of all, I would say, Dont disclose ur personal info on any Forums.
2nd thing, Let them take their own time.
Whenever u submit ur cell to Service center they generaly take 2-3 Days to get it repaired.
So, Wait for 2-3 Days and If still they are not giving u postive feedback then u can go ahead
I submitted my Xperia M for servicing in accel pvt ltd. service centre in Nehru Place. It has been two weeks and they havent been able to fix the problem. My phone had a problem with its lock button. They said they have replaced the motherboard, but the problem remained as such. I asked them, so the new motherboard also has the same proble, to which they had no answer. They had also replaced my battery with a battery which was visibly old and slighty worn out and did not care to inform me about the battery replacement while trying to return it to me. This is fraud. I will suggest everyone to refrain from buying any Sony Product. They have the very poor service.

No used for talking about customer support in sony, in samsung you can right to CEO desk if people are not listining to you.
I have complained on that link 2 times. Got 2 different ticket numbers.
I have complained by e-mail atleast 3 times. Got ticket number for that too.
I have complained to their customer CC 10-15 times. Spoken to four different Senior executives.
DO you think I have not put any efforts??? It is them, who are not putting any effort.
The issue is that THEY DONT HAVE PART from 1 month. My touchscreen is faulty. So they are waiting from 1 month for part to arrive (this is what their Sr executive keeps on telling me)
In other words, for them consumer can suffer. They will keep selling new mobiles but they will not give me my mobile or a new mobile even if they fail to repair it in reasonable time for WHATEVER REASONS.

I had purchased a Sony Xperia U on 21st Jan 2013. I went by sony brand and bought without much of research. However, that was my biggest mistake.
The next day only I had to take it to the Service Center. Problem very many: Battery was just dipping in 3 hr. without internet, screen was automatic showing mirror look and the biggest problem was, when I receive a call I was unable to take as for that particular time it gets hang (mainly till the bell is ringing ) and as soon as its over i can do what i want. I submitted the mobile they updated the new version. Some problem got solved however still i was facing screen hang problem however I decided to continue with the same in that manner due to my busy schedule. After 4 -5 months I again decided to take it to service center. At that time they told me they will change screen..it will solve the problem. I gave them and they changed it.... However, no improvement!!!. Then again I left it and started using another mobile as I lost all hope in two visits only.. I wanted to give final shot so I took my mobile to service center before 15 days of expiry of warranty. Then they told me it a problem of hardware whole IC needs to be changes. I requested them to do that and take all possible effort to replace my mobile because since day one i am facing problem with the mobile.. They replaced the IC and returned me...
But now problem has increased. Earlier i used to miss 5 calls out of 10 call because of that. Now I miss 8 calls out of 10 calls..
Literally Hilarious!!!
