Charging problem?

1. My phone is charging up to 96% without any problem. but at the 96 or 97% notification light goes down.after the unlock screen at that time,battary icon shows its charging but no light (battary shows 96%).then lock the screen and unlock again bring the light back and suddenly battary goes 96% to 100% and status shows its full.
2. When i remove the chager at middle of the charging ( let say i removed it @ 80%),after little while it shows 93% or 94% etc.

My friend's Xperia V has the same problems.:smileysad:

Well, I have the same problem as you. I think it is a software problem. I'm waiting to see if update .145 fix this. If the problem persist we hope Sony will fix this soon. It is not a major problem since my battery last enough for me, and I'm happy with my Xperia V. I hope Sony will fix all the bugs in future updates (battery, notification light, speaker sound when removing jack, etc...).

I updated to .145, problem is  still there. repair already via pc companion but no luck.

Same with my Xperia V, but when using the phone this bug doens't exist only when you leave your phone wihtout doing anything while charging.

Same problem with my Xperia V too. Latest update didn't help a bit. Problem still persists. Not sure if it is a software or hardware bug. Otherwise, loving my Xperia V.

Downloaded the Xperia V user guide and saw this. Not sure if it is because of this? "This is to extend battery life...." Hmm... What you guys think?

No i don't think so, i think this a bug. all v users have this problem.

i think chager is the problem.my charger is EP880 and out put current 1500ma,but my previous acro S has EP800 n out put 800 ma.never face this problem with acro s.i think xperia v's firmware cant handle that 1500ma current.

if someone have the ep800 charger,then chrge the V from it and post the result.

What the manual says is that when you charge the battery it will stop charging when the battery is full and when the battery has gone down a bit it starts charging again so depending on when you disconnect the charger or look at the battery status it may not be at 100% even though it's been charging for hours.

I already read and test that suggesions.but this is a different problem.i think its a bug.coz we all have same problem.

After this happens

i remove the chager and then use it.After about 30 mins its around 90%(wi-fi off,bluetooth off,data off, brightness 50%, no calls,few messeges and my signal is good) .then again i put it to charge for 30 mins status shows its full and obove problem doesn’t apear.now i can use 100% to 90% for 2or 3 hrs @ above same usage.Ithink its firmware bug.indicator n status shows wrong details.i always charge full cycles(100% to 5or10% and charge to 100%(full) ) and always have this problem(my Xperia V friends too) .
