Hi, I apologise in advance if this topic has already been discussed.
I have an Xperia X10 - love it to death. However I got it on a Vodafone 24 month plan so it was soft locked to them, and all the setting were defaulted to Voda. I have since been able to get out of the Vodafone contract (allowed to keep the phone), unlocked it, and signed up with Optus.
I would really really like to continue using the Sony with the Optus sim card, however I cannot access email, internet, FB, and all the other gimmicks...all I can do is text and call people! Old school haha!
What I would like to know, is it at all possible to delete the Voda settings from this phone, and set it up so I can use the Optus internet and such? And if so, what do I need to do?
Many thanks!
Your new carrier should be able to give you the settings that you need for these functions so I would suggest giving them a call, it should only take 10 minutes to input the new info.
