Cannot delete message

Recently i updated my x10 manually to 2.3.3 gingerbread. When i try to delete the message thread although all the messages are gone but the thread still appear. And if there is a message draft, i try to delete it several times but failed. Can SE do something about it.

Not sure if you have tried to perform a repair using PC Companion.

Some times it helps.

Another thing that just came to mind is whether you can use a free downlaoded SMS app to do it indirectly.

In fact, actually the free downloaded SMS app is much better than the default.

You can try one of the following free SMS apps from the Android market :

1. Go SMS Pro

the app make my messaging too slow..i try backing up my sms and all the conversations and restore it again but still the blank threads exist..can se do something about it.

There is another thread about the same issue and one of the suggestions was to use the Backup and REstore app to backup only your messages and then restore.  You will need to download the backup app as its not in the Gingerbread set up, instructions on this thread Lost Backup with Android Gingerbread...
