I'm sorry to hear that.
It sounds like there might be something wrong with your SD-card I'm afraid, does the same thing happen if you attempt to take a photo or store other data on your SD-card instead of to the internal storage?
What I would recommend is that you try to format your SD-card, either through your phone (if possible) or by using a computer. To do this directly in your phone: Go to Settings > Storage &memory > Tap the circle saying Storage usage > Tap the text SD Card > Tap the three dots in the top right corner > Storage settings > Format.
Should the above not help, do you have another SD-card you can try inserting into your phone?
