Backup and Restore Problem

Hey guys...i backed up my phone using PC companion (twice). Now I want to repair my phone but when i connected my phone and opened back up and restore (just to check whether i'll be able to restore the data later) it showed no backup files. When I disconnected the phone it showed both the backup files. why is that? I am uploading the images. Now I disconned my phone clicked on the appeared backup file, clicked next den connected my phone, it showed phone is connected, but then it showed backup is not compatible to restore. How do i restore the data?

I have seen people with this problem before,the backup was not compatible.I do not know what causes this...Have you updated after doing the backup?

U mean after the backup?? No. I am on latest firmware since few weeks and i did backup few days back. Now when i try to restore it, it is not working.

Yes,after the backup if you updated,then you could encounter this problem.

I did the backup again and didn't update anything...still d same problem...backup not compatible!!!
