Another Update Alert..

I think theres a new UPDATE on X8. my phone prompted last night but i havent downloaded it yet. Im on the current update of 2.1.1 or whatever.

IF SOMEONE ALREADY GET THE UPDATE, CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IT IS?

This will also let everyone know what the UPDATE is about.

It might be something very minor.  I had an update about two weeks ago, but I haven't noticed any differences to the phone.  That said, I usually just use my X10.  My Firmware version is 2.1-update1, Baseband version is M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015, Kernel version is 2.6.29, and Build number is 2.1.1.A.0.6.

It's a shame that there are no details about what the update provided.  It might be that it was something invisible, like a security patch or something, I suppose.  To the original poster, I would just install the update.  It can't do any harm...

True, it definitely won't and can't do any harm. In fact, stated 'Update your phone software to get optimal performance, the latest enhancements and improved software stability' which is making the update 'tempting'! :smileymischief:
