Android software upgrade??

The peria X10 mini pro has the firmware version Donut (v 1.6) while newer versions like Eclair (v 2.1) and Froyo (v 2.2) have already been released and the other manufacturers have already used them in the phones. Android systems is ready to release the next version of the OS: Gingerbread (v 3.0) while we still use the crappy 1.6 base version.

When will the software upgrade to atleast 2.1 or 2.2 be available for the X10 mini pro users?

Im sure India will be latest!!!!!!When entire world get updated to 2.2 then they will update India to 2.1!!!

It is amazing why you think like that. INDIA may be among the countries that get the update first. Many countries out there do not even allow Android Market.

This is very odd. They stated that the update was coming, starting today evening in the nordic countries and exactly when it becomes 6 pm the product launch blog stops working. I live in Sweden which is included in the nordic countries who were supposed to get the update today evening. So far it's 8:48 pm and I haven't gotten the update, nor does Sony Ericssons product launch work, so you don't know if it has actually been released and if anyone has gotten it yet.:smileyconfused:

W00T I just updated my X10 mini using the update service on the computer.

Don't wait for your phone to tell you the update is available, just use the update service on your computer immediatley!

They recommend PC Companion according to xperia blog due to some additional guides, just so you know.
