Alarm problems

After the new 2.1 update my alarm doesnt work and made me late for work.

Anyone else has this problem?

I realised the same behaviour with my xperia mini pro after reading your post. It started after updating to 2.1. when I set it for after some time say 2 minutes, it never rang in the morning when it is desparately needed 😞

I have the same problem with the alarm clocks. I set an alarm to repeat every workday, but unfortunately the phone remains silent... It worked fine with Android 1.6 but after the update I can't count on it anymore. Is there a fix?

Finally I figured out one workaround... Delete all your alarms and create new ones. If you need to change one, dont change it instead delete it and create a new one. for me it works fine....

same exact problem here. worked fine on 1.6, but when i updated to 2.1 it never rang again. i even tried deleting old os' alarms and stting fresh new ones but didn't work. to impluse to flush this lovely tiny phone down the toilet gets bigger everyday....

Hey I think I might have found a way to solve this problem reading some other forum.

It seems it is an ATK issue: all you have to do i set it to "low" security level and reboot. then add to the ignore list all SE processes (do never kill SE processes as they might be vital to OS functioning). With this procedure this morning my alarm clock worked.

Last time I've had problems with mobile phones' alarm clocks was with my nokia 3210 back about 10 years ago...
