aborted update

I tryed an upgrade of Android 2.0 to Android 2.1 on my Xperia X10 mini.

I used PC Companion 2.0 and apparently it was all ok till the end

but wen I switch on I get this image

for about 10 seconds, then it switch off automatically

Any trial of recovery failed. I restarted PC Companion, restarted Windows XP, tested with or without SIM etc

Download Sony Ericsson Update Service and flash with this app.  It doesn't flash correctly on occasion, for some reason with PC Companion.  SEUS is much more stable

if you get an error, turn off your firewall and/or antivirus if you get an error, reboot on safe mode

The problem was due to the USB cable. First I used a non original cable. Then I got out the original Sony Ericsson cable and it worked perfectly. No loss of data, even last calls etc.
