Hello again!
I'm glad to hear that you have been able to turn if off for most applications!
I can see how it could be useful feature to just have a setting to turn vibrations on and off for all applications in the phone with 1 tap, instead of having to do it for each app.
Let me know if there is anything else that I can assist with!

Hi @mellysa, very sorry to hear about this.
Is this something that you have started to notice very recently, for example after updating your device or installing a new application?
If you are using a screen protector on your device, try and remove it and see if you experience the same behaviour. You can also restart your device in safe mode and use it for a while when downloaded applications aren't loaded so we can see if any of them is the cause of this.
Keep me posted!

I'm sorry SONY - just give us a setting that allows ALL vibration to be turned off on the phone as a hardware setting.
Also as Sony has battery life issues (and always has, despite the 'official' line), being able to turn off ALL vibration would help immensely.
I just lost 20% of my battery whilst on holiday using Google Maps (which does not allow you to switch off any vibration), which left much less battery for taking picture. It's so stupid.
I'm on my 3rd Xperia and, yes it's a good phone, but this is a deal breaker for me.

Goto sound and switch off notification sounds.
Goto notifications and switch off led notification.
That should do it?
Oh and btw this is an equal problem for all Android phones.

Hello,
I know this is an old thread but I have recently factory reset my phone as my Google play was acting up. Now I can't turn off vibrations for things like the General back button.
Unless the system has been updated and has removed the feature I can't find the option to turn it off. I did have it turned off before the factory reset.
Thanks,
Kieran f
