I have this problem. And also updated on your care center. But problem is same. Device displayes process system is not responding.
This is the first hit on Google.
Maybe here is a solution for you in it too.
For instance Power off your device, remove the SD card and restart it.
See what happens.
If that didn't solve the problem you can try to find out what is causing the problem by restarting in safe mode.
Push power off, long press on Restart and your device will restart in safe mode.
Safe mode is a state in which all apps installed by you will not start up, a clean state of running your device.
There is no permanent solution from sony until now,its sad
But here is a work around which will fix it temporarily for some days or weeks
Bring the powermenu by holding power button then,longpress on "restart" option until it restarts by itself,it will now enter "safemode" then again just normal restart your phone, problem will be solved for some days or even weeks.
Repeat the same until sony fixes it
I already tried all the below solutions. Got hard reset twice and downgraded OS twice yet the issue persist.
Worst thing is the msg is frequent these days. I was stuck twice while typing this msg.
Did u try entering safe mode and rebooting from there?bcoz it always work for me

I think updating xperia assist and support apps via google play will resolve the problem
if you check google play you will be notified for new update of xperia assist, just update it, excute it
and activate smart cleaner restart phone
it is more than 2 weeks I haven't seen this error hope not to see again
