Greetings to all! Somebody can help me?
I have casually removed pre-loaded diagnostic app for Xperia tablet Z2.
How I can restore this application?
I received last firmware update (23.0.1.A.0.167) for Xperia tablet Z2, but nothing happened.
App from market is not the same that was pre-loaded. In the market “Xperia Diagnostics”– v.1.02.47,
but pre-loaded was v.2.
Thank you.

Solution of a problem.
If someone has removed the preloaded applications it can be restored.
App "Total Commander" is required.
Path: ../etc/product/applications/.
In this folder there are next apps - "diagnostics", "dropbox", "facebook",
"officesuitepro" and some more.
Good luck!
Are you certain that you removed the preloaded app? have you rooted your device?
Settings > about phone > Diagnostics
Thank you.

If I use factory reset, I will lost all updates.
Unfortunately so. I have removed it by the app named "ProcessManager".
I have not rooted my device.

PC Companion does not keep system apps.
You will have to re-download all apps and updates
Thanks for advice, but I think this app "Diagnostics" is useful, but basically it is possible and to manage without it.
Too many time to reload all apps.
I think what probably to use apps "Diagnostics" and "Elixir2" from a market.
Sony promises updating Android 5.0 Lollipop for tablet. It is possible to wait.
I mean that with last firmware update we have app "Tools" with
Sony's "Back up & restore". May be something else will be.
We'll have to wait and see regarding lollipop
