I have an AX53 comcorder for a few weeks and when I pan around on auto focus, the objects being filmed are not in focus.  It takes a split second for focus to take effect once you stop panning.  

is there some way I can speed up the camera's ability to focus.  if not I'm dumping this camera, I am very unsatisfied with it so far.  I hope it is just me and its a learning curve thing.  Any ideas ?
