Dell Laptop will not pair bluetooth with MDR-XB950BT

I bought the expensive style of bluetooth headphones as I thought they would have less compatability issues. They work great with my iphone, but cannot use them with my laptop, Dell Latitude E5440. Pressed the power button for 20 seconds on headphones and the blue / red light flash then search for devices on laptop, it finds the sony mdr-xb950bt but dosent load any drivers. Rebooted the laptop and switched on, it finds the headphones but has nothing available to use. I have searched for drivers to load onto Win 7 Pro, but nothing available. Any help would be much appreciated

Hi !

I had the same problem, but on win 10. Just click on speaker on bottom right, and go to sounds.

In first tab you should have listed avaible sound devices and there should be your speakers, just klick on them and from the mid button choose set as default devis and averything should works.

Works for me.
