Battery behaviour of WF-1000 XM4

I recently bought a WF1000-XM4 from the Blue store. Love the audio quality and fits me reasonably well. However observing funny behaviour with the battery. The right bud is loosing battery much faster and at the point of full discharge, difference is about 20%. The overall listening time I get most of the time is 2.5 to 3 hours. Could anyone help me with some guidance on how to fix this and get more listening time. I am on firmware 2.0.1.

I think this is a common problem. Mine are just over a year old. Went through a firmware update and now only get about 30 mins from the right bud and many many hours from the left. I've been through every suggestion of rectifying this that's on the internet. Still stuck with the issue... and obviously out of warranty (after a year)... 

I'd return yours for a replacement. This feature cannot be fixed.
