WinDVD 7 & TX1...

I have a VGN-TX1XP and would like to use WinDVD 7 rather than the ver 4 that came pre-installed.

Everthing works fine but one small niggle is that the WinDVD 4 for Vaio can be operated by the external AV mode keys, but the standard ver 7 doesn't.

Anyone know how I can get it to work?

Did you do an upgrade install or fresh?

You need the original WinDVD4 for 7 to work as I have no problems at all with 7 as I left in 4 as it advised during installation. Reinstall both programs as Keelo suggests. Hello bud look for the hidden message in this pic

Do the external AV buttons work for you?

The actual WinDVD 7 program works just fine for me, it's just the external buttons that only work with ver 4
