I use PC Probe firom Asus tek and i read a tension of 15V for 12V. The RED is in use.
First Can I use PC probe for this MB?
Secund If yes; what I must do?
Thanks for the reponse. Alain Noel :smileyrolling_eyes:
Hi Alain,
I do not know if there is any specific reason why you should not use PC-Probe. As I do not own a Sony Desktop I do not know who manufactured your motherboard. If it was not Asustech then I would be suspicious of the results.
You do not say whether your PC has been and continues to work OK.
As you can obviously install and use PC Probe I guess the answer is probably yes.
I would uninstall PC Probe and pretend I had never used it.
BUT its not my computer.
Regards,
William
To be honest, I wouldn't really play around with voltages, unless you really know what you are doing. I would just make sure the system is working fine and don't fix whats not broken.
Poor Noel,
He waits a week for an answer and gets two in 15 minutes!
Guess thats life.
I agree, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
William
I agree, if its not broken don't fix it....
But, just to be safe, try Motherboard Monitor and see what voltage readings it gives
15v on a 12v line does sound a tad excessive
15v on a 12v line does sound a tad excessive
Well actually funnily enough it should really be around 12v (hence the reason its called a 12v line)!
Kee-Lo slaps his head, duh !

THanks for the responess.
I use Pc probe from Asus tek because the MM of vaio RX 402 is a Asus card. 7N266 VX. But the Asus sit don't give utilisation or infomation for this MM.
For the MMB I have some problems because I don't know the CI of MM.
