Video Adapter Drivers For XP

HI All!

I recently purchased the same model fz18e and have just dual booted system with XP, happy so far, just for one thing, if someone would be so helpful in providing me with Drivers / Solution to the video adapter in XP, I just can't sort it out!

It's a NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GT GPU.

Hi James and welcome to Club Vaio.

There will only be beta drivers available for XP.

Download the XP Driver from here: -

The original .INF supports your 8400M GT so it will install OK.

I have one more unknown device showing up, it is "Mass Storage Device".
Apololgies for starting this new thread, as it was not my intention, was looking at another familiar thread and me so not familiar to this forum and laptop, so apologies again.

Hi James,

I am guessing it will be the Texas Instruments FlashMedia Memory Stick Driver you need.

It is usually in the Drivers folder under Drivers\FlashMedia.

All is good, I can finally relax after spending the last 48 hours in getting it the way I want.

Now the hard part, getting all my pro music gear on!

which audio drivers did you use? i cannot get any of the ones i try to work.
