I have problem using any kind of software for listen my music, in every format. The problem is a very bad sound quality, like scratchs on ancients disks. The very strange fact is that if I use Windows Media Player I've no problem. I think this is not normal. I've this problem since the first day I've purchased the notebook.

hi, lourens.
i had the problem while playing games. problem was the autostart function of the sonic stage software - it automatically picked 5.1 sound instead of stereo. disable that, maybe it will help.

That's correct, Lourens. You'll probably find that you have sound problems with Quicktime as well. Just remove audio from the startup folder and restart the computer.

go to start/all programs/startup and right click on audio filter and then chose delete. it wont startup when u log into windows next time
