My clock is always showing the wrong time on start up. Could this be the battery that needs changing and if so does anyone know how to get to it on this model. Also on trying a recovery it will not install windows and the message i get is c:/windows/system32/config is missing or corrupt. have tried to repair this but no success. I have now installed windows on the D Drive but my sony recovery and application disc will only allow me to install on C Drive can anyone advice as i do not have any of my applications
doesn`t anyone have any answers?
Hi springtime.
Yes, it could be the battery although these normally last for the lifetime of the computer - you will need to contact Sony as it says in your User Guide: -
Are you following the full Recovery Procedure as in this Guide?
