VGC-LA1 ABLE TO BE USED WITH PS3 OR SKY TV?

I've just purchased this pc, its got digital freeview built in but I was wondering if I can like it to a games console PS2, PS3 etc? Also am I able to link it to a sky box and watch sky through it?

Hi jazz_x and welcome to Club Vaio.

The LA-Series is designed as a stand-alone unit and has very few inputs or outputs to connect to other equipment. It is just not designed to be used as a display for other external equipment.

It is possible to connect a PlayStation or Sky by using the S-Video and AV inputs but these connect through the Freeview TV Tuner and the delay would make playing games impossible and Media Centre makes connecting a set-top-box very difficult and anyway the quality from Sky would be poor.
