vaio vgc v2m - tv out

hi there,is it possible to add a pc card that has a tv out function or an usb device watch hdmovies on a lcd ?
i know about streaming but playback shutters bad if resolution is above 640x480

This will not be easy because the V-Series Vaios have NO outputs at all for transferring video to something like a TV. All the S-Video, Composite Video ports are IN ONLY and you do not have a VGA Monitor output. The whole idea of the 'All-in-One' V-Series is that you are meant to watch everything on the Vaio's screen.

Your only hope is a USB device that can output analogue video.

Something like THIS USB CONVERTER may do the trick. The quality will not be great as you will be converting formats several times.

Quite honestly, I would forget it and buy an inexpensive DVD Player.
