Vaio Update Program

I have recently re-installed windows on my Vaio TX5 but I am unable to download the Vaio Update Program. The only download I can get is the "Update" Vaio Update. I have looked around but cannot find the original program to download. I thought it would have been bundled with the Original Utilities file but it wasn't. Does anyone know where I can download the program from?

I did not use the Recovery Utility. I was installing Vista Business and I started a fresh installation from a formatted hard drive. Probably not the correct way to do it but I wanted to have a fresh version of Vista with no programs so that I could install what I needed.

Unfortunately the Vaio update program is not available for download, however you can download and install the updates manually from here ..

Although I doubt that most of them will be of use as you do not have the Sony pre-installed applications installed..

Would it not have been easier to use the Vaio recovery utility and then remove the pre-installed applications that you did not require..??

OK, thanks for your help. I did think about using the recovery utility but I wanted to wipe the entire hard drive and start afresh. My laptop has been running slowly of late and I wanted to remove all the data the "old fashioned way" so to speak. I have since re-installed windows vista with all the drivers and it is working fine now, just without some of the Vaio applications which were really non-essential to me.
