upgrade RAM to 2GB

Hi everybody! I have AR41E and want to upgrade my RAM to 2GB. But I don't know wich suits best. The real sony "VGP-MM1GA" 1GB RAM costs £ 200, wich is pretty pricey. I found others like Transcend SONY VAIO (Laptop) VGN-AR41E /1-B108 1GB memory module wich costs £ 22 on

Have a look at Cruical.com several members have bought extra RAM from crucial and another benefit from buying from Crucial is there memory compatibility guarantee.

Thanks mate. the page u gave me, they have RAM kits(2x1GB), so it means i have to take out the original one. Do u think it`ll perform better speed. Thx again 4 ur help.

You can if you want just install another single 1GB module in your AR.

However as the AR supports dual-channel memory for optimal performance you should install in identical pairs (preferably in kits)..
