uninstall nero 7

Hi Guys
I have a huge problem with Nreo 7. I tried to install it after a full system reset (format) it stopped about 3rd the way in. now it wont reinstall or uninstall. I cant install nero 8 on top until I uninstall Nero7 so I tried an uninstaller which is now asking for ‘nero.msi’, this file is almost imposable to find, I have deleted the files from “program file\nero7” but no of this has worked. Can anybody tell me how to manaly uninstall nero. I have also tried the nero clear tool but this also wont work.

Hi matey, system restore to a time before your nasty episode with Nero burning down rome. That should replace the deleted .dll rnecessary to uninstall. Turn off all virtual disk programs infact all programs as if you were defragmenting and set a restore point and try again.

Also, maybe you can use the TuneUp Utilities 2007.

You will found a option to uninstall any software easily. The free trial version is here...

get the general clean tool from Nero's website, in their downloads section.

worked for me, except now I can't burn Panasonic dvds any more - I had to uninstall an update for nero, then re-install the original Nero 7, and since then I've had problems, but at least the tool from Nero got rid of the program ok.

Hi Guys
Thank you very much for your responses. I have managed to remove Nero by using an uninstaller (Revo uninstaller 1.34) that will allow me to remove just the reg entry’s after it has refused to do a full uninstall.
