I love my new TZ notebook with its solid state HDD.
However the keyboard all but becomes impossible to see in low light conditions, even in daylight with the light coming behind the screen. The mid gray key letters simply blend into the dark grey background. It is a notebook after all and one of the most portable on the market; it is a certainty that most users with want to operate it in mid to low light situations without having to purchase a USB operated clip on light (which simply advertises the fact that you are there to everyone around).
Is there a way to get a higher contrast keyboard fitted (eg WHITE letters on the dark grey background). Also what about people with less than perfect eyesight.
Note for future Vaio notebook design: illuminated keycaps!!
Any suggestions welcome.
