The dreaded disappearing letters ...

... and the choices. Like legions before me - in a literary mode today - have fading letters on keys, N & M in my case (are they the most used letters or is it irrelevant?). Question is, on a scale of 1 - 10 (1 being me, 5 being competent, and 10 being rather pleased with yourself) how difficult is it to fit new keys if I ask for them?
