SZ Laptop CD Player

Hi,

I have got a SZ2XP laptop and having some real problems with the CD reading. I have put several CDs in and tried to read them and it seems to know there is a CD but i cant view anything on the CD it frezes. I have also noticed there seems to be a loud noise coming from the CD player.

Can anyone help??
