Sony Vaio FE41S Help

Hi Gang,

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I got a slight crack on my Keyboard cover that covers the keyboard and on/off buttons. It is on the left hand side near to the hinge for the LCD Panel. With it being so frail and fragile and with it being in danger of just breaking off, I want this replacing and had a word with Vaio Support, despite it being in warranty they told me it would cost around 160 pounds sterling to do it!!! I asked if they could supply the part and I do it myself and they told me it had to be sent back to them.

I have searched high and low for this part but to no avail. Does anyone out there know where I can source the part from. I beleive the code for this is MS10 Keyboard Assy Cover. The attached image is the part in question.

I really hope some Vaio expert can point me in the right direction, for a bit of plastic I am not that keen to spend over the odds even in warranty!

You will have to get it shipped from the US - but it is still going to be a lot cheaper!!!!
