SD Cards not recognised by my Vaio VGN AR21S

Hello,

I have a VAIO VGN-AR21S running Windows Vista. I have just bought a 4GB SD card to synch with some of my music so I can listen to it on the move. The problem is that the card cannot be seen by the computer. A 1GB card can be seen. Anyone know what the problem is?

By the way the same 4GB card is seen by my XP media centre computer but it says it is not formatted.
It is seen as formatted on my TOSHIBA XP laptop and it is seen on my PDA.

It is not an SD-HC card.

A driver update usually does the trick as the drives weren't designed with that capacity in mind.

This is where your problem lies since no update is available.

An external reader would work or connecting the camera to a USB port would also help.
