SD card reader adapter vista not working!

Hi Everybody!
I have a FE41Z with vista home premium for 5 months already. All working all right till SD Card reader adapter stopped reading my 2GB SD Panasonic. It did read it always before. Now it simply dosn´t.
I have already looked up in the forum but all the patchs posted did not work for me.
Can anyboy help me?

Back up on a device that does read your card and then right click on the sd card icon and format. I am assuming it reads other sd cards. If not go into the device manager and reinstall the device driver

Thank you for your reply. This card would get formated just while being read from my Cam USB. I actually formated it and now it works reading it from this USB. Original SD card reader adapter wont work apparently with any SD. Driver re installation I´m afraid I wont know where to get the same driver afterwards for the re installation. My vista OS is in German and it´s pretty freaky and easy to get lost. I´m very bad at computers.
Anyway now it works all right from the CAM Usb. So thank you very much for the advice!
