Satellite Digibox to WMC - No signal.... HELP !!!!!!!!!!

Grateful for any help anyone can give :

recently purchased Vaio all-in-one VGC-LT1M and have had very few problems......except one.

I cannot get a signal from my satellite set top box to WMC.

Set up is : aerial Coax into Thomson Sky Digibox
Coax from RF Out on Digibox to aerial in socket on PC

When I run TV Setup it does a very quick scan but cannot find any signal.

Can any one spell out for me what I need to be doing in order to get the signal from one to another......or indeed how I can find it from WMC

Hi Barry,

When you do the TV setup, you are asking it to scan for ANALOGUE TV Channels - you need to use the TV card in its analogue mode. This is the only way the RF signal will be recognised. This means that you cannot watch DVB-T channels with the same tuner.

Unfortunately, the L-Series is not designed to receive streamed analogue input.

Thanks. I was beginning to think it might be a problem and that I would not be able to get satellite.

If I run my DVB-T aerial straight to my PC, will this work ?
