problems with burning video-dvd's

Hello,

I have been having problems with burning video-dvd's for a couple of days now. They actually do get burned but my standalone dvd-player cannot play the dvd. I have tried several other standalone dvd-players and other burners, but it just won't read the dvd's. I have tried several brands of dvd's also, but it doesn't seem to matter. Does anyone recognise this problem? Does this problem have to with Vista?

What Vaio do you have?
What software program are you using to burn the discs?
What are you trying to burn to disc?
What format discs are you using?
Are you sure the program is "Finalising" the discs so they can be played in any player?
Has this worked before and just stopped in the last few days?

Nero 8.0 and IMGBurn

- What are you trying to burn to disc?
Some selfmade movies

- What format discs are you using?
I've tried DVD-R and DVD+R

Yes the program has finalising the discs

- Has this worked before and just stopped in the last few days?
It has worked before
