problems with built-in Eyemotion cam VGN - Fj 3s

hi

since I got my laptop back after the repair of the ventilation. I can't use my cam. I tried to do the whole system recovery but doesn't work.

I can't find I driver for the motion eye asswel.

Can somebody help me?

Hi Ennelaaiz and welcome to Club Vaio.

If it still does not work after a full Recovery, the most likely cause is that it has become physically disconnected during the repair and will probably have to go back to be put right.

Check this please: -

Go to Device Manager (Start -> Right-Click on My Computer -> Properties -> Hardware -> Device Manager) and expand the section "Imaging Devices" - do you see a Sony Camera installed?

If you can find an uninstalled camera (probably somewhere in USB Devices) you can try to install the camera driver.

You will find the driver in: -

C:\Drivers\Camera\VC0321

or you can download the Original Drivers Package from Vaio-Link Support.

If you can't find an uninstalled camera anywhere in Device Manager, it is most likely the camera has become physically detatched and will need repair. Phone Sony for advice.
